The world's largest single typhoon-resistant wind-fish integrated cage platform - CGN "Fuxi No. 1" completed and put into operation
According to Science and Technology Daily, on September 4, the world's largest single typhoon-resistant wind-fishing integrated cage platform, CGN's "Fuxi No. 1", was completed and put into operation in Shanwei, Guangdong, and the first batch of farmed fish fry was released.

"Fuxi No. 1" is located in the central area of the 500,000-kilowatt offshore wind farm of CGN Houhu in Shanwei. It consists of two parts: the main structure of the cage and the upper platform. The main structure of the cage is 70 meters long and 35 meters wide, with a water depth of about 25.7 meters and a breeding water volume of 63,000 cubic meters. It is expected to produce about 900 tons of high-quality seawater fish annually. The project has great significance for the integrated development of China's "offshore wind power + marine ranch" industry. important demonstration significance.

CGN's "Fuxi No. 1" is equipped with five intelligent marine ranch systems, including green electricity supply, combined air and water feeding, automatic net cleaning, environmental monitoring and early warning, and live fish preservation and transportation. It is managed and regulated in a centralized control system in the monitoring room, which not only ensures the smooth progress of the entire breeding process, but also improves breeding efficiency.

"Fuxi No. 1" has also innovatively created a comprehensive multi-nutrient aquaculture system, introduced bottom seeding and proliferation technology, and cultivated fish and shrimp feeding species together with shellfish and algae extraction species. Among them, the extraction species use inorganic and organic excess nutrients in aquaculture to grow, and the leftover bait and fish and shrimp feces fed to fish and shrimp will become food or fertilizer for other species. These various aquaculture species at different trophic levels can form a synergistic effect, which can not only ensure the multi-layer utilization of biological metabolites, promote biological emission reduction, and improve aquaculture benefits, but also improve the fishery environment, increase the biodiversity of the environment inside and outside the deep-water cage, form a virtuous cycle, and improve the marine ecological chain.

Three years after the commissioning, with the full completion of the Shanwei Houhu Wind and Fish Integration Marine Ranch Project, Shanwei City will form a wind and fish integration demonstration cluster of "offshore wind power + deep-sea aquaculture + ecological gain + leisure tourism", and the onshore aquaculture base and tourism facilities will also be improved simultaneously. By then, the total aquaculture water body is expected to reach 300,000 cubic meters, the annual output will jump to 4,500 tons, the annual number of tourists is expected to exceed 180,000, the comprehensive annual output value is about 450 million yuan, and about 800 jobs will be created for the local area. Five years after the commissioning, the Shanwei Wind and Fish Integration Modern Marine Ranch Industrial Park will form a complete marine economic industrial chain, effectively promote the development of surrounding related supporting industries, and is expected to have a comprehensive annual output value of tens of billions, creating more than 10,000 jobs for the local area, becoming a new highlight of the development of marine economy in Guangdong Province and even the whole country.

It is reported that "Fuxi No. 1" was built in the open waters of the South China Sea. It innovatively applied the design and construction technology of giant marine ranch aquaculture cage structures that are resistant to typhoons, impacts, and corrosion, and can directly withstand a super typhoon of Category 17.
